Prisindexets

Prisindexets, often translated as the price index, is a statistical measure used to track changes in the price level of a basket of goods and services over time. It serves as a vital tool for understanding inflation and deflation in an economy. A price index is typically calculated by comparing the current cost of a representative set of goods and services to their cost at a base period, which is assigned an index value of 100.
