PrimingSignale
PrimingSignale is a term used in cognitive psychology and neuroscience to describe the phenomenon where exposure to a stimulus influences the response to a subsequent stimulus. This influence can be facilitatory, making the subsequent response faster or more accurate, or inhibitory, making it slower or less accurate. The initial exposure, known as the prime, activates certain representations or pathways in the brain, making them more readily accessible for processing the target stimulus.
There are several types of priming. Repetition priming occurs when the target stimulus is identical or very
Priming effects can occur without conscious awareness of the prime, a phenomenon known as implicit memory.
