Primaarikäämi is a Finnish term that translates to "primary coil" in English. It refers to the coil of wire in a transformer that is connected to the input power source. This coil is responsible for receiving electrical energy and creating a magnetic field. The number of turns in the primary coil, along with the voltage applied to it, determines the strength of this magnetic field.
