Preussissa

Preussissa is a genus of extinct ray-finned fish that lived during the Early Triassic epoch. Fossils of Preussissa have been found in the rocks of Greenland, indicating its ancient distribution. The genus is known from a single described species, Preussissa foresteri, which was named in honor of the paleontologist Albert Foreste.

The anatomy of Preussissa suggests it was a relatively small fish, adapted to a marine environment. Its skeletal structure and fin placement provide clues about its swimming capabilities and lifestyle.
