Premiebetaler

Premiebetaler is a term used in insurance, pension and related financial arrangements to describe the person or entity that pays the insurance premium. The premiebetaler is not necessarily the same as the policyholder or the beneficiary; different parties can play these roles in the same agreement.

Roles and typical arrangements: In many private policies, the policyholder pays the premium themselves. In occupational or group policies, the employer frequently acts as premiebetaler, paying premiums on behalf of employees who are insured or covered by the plan.
