Instead, it generally refers to the application of calculus techniques to problems where the underlying function is exponential. The core idea behind powerskalkulus involves understanding how to find the rate of change of an exponentially growing or decaying quantity (differentiation) and how to determine the total accumulation or change of such a quantity over time (integration).
