Postsynaptisina
Postsynaptisina refers to the structures and processes located on the receiving side of a synapse. A synapse is the junction between two nerve cells, or neurons, where information is transmitted from one neuron to another. The presynaptic neuron, which sends the signal, releases neurotransmitters into the synaptic cleft, the small space between the two neurons. These neurotransmitters then bind to receptors on the postsynaptic neuron, initiating a response.
The postsynaptic side primarily consists of the postsynaptic membrane, which is the surface of the dendrite
In addition to receptors, the postsynaptic structure can also include intracellular signaling molecules and enzymes that
