Polimerointi

Polimerointi is the Finnish term for polymerization, a chemical process where small molecules called monomers combine to form a larger molecule called a polymer. This process is fundamental to the creation of plastics, rubbers, and many other synthetic and natural materials. Monomers are the repeating building blocks of a polymer chain. The specific type of monomer and the conditions under which polymerization occurs determine the structure and properties of the resulting polymer.
