Podskórnej is a Polish adjective meaning "subcutaneous," referring to something located or occurring beneath the skin. It is commonly used in medical contexts to describe a route of administration for medications or the location of certain medical conditions. For instance, subcutaneous injections are given into the fatty layer just below the skin. This method is often preferred for drugs that are absorbed slowly or that would be destroyed by the digestive system if taken orally.
