The pipette is then moved to the receiving vessel, and the liquid is dispensed by pressing the plunger or activating the dispensing mechanism. Proper technique is crucial to ensure accuracy and avoid contamination. This includes using the correct pipette for the volume, ensuring a good seal on the tip, and performing aspiration and dispensing at consistent speeds.
