Philistia
Philistia was a region in the ancient Levant, located along the southeastern Mediterranean coast. It was inhabited by the Philistines, a Bronze Age Aegean people who migrated to the region around the 12th century BCE. The Philistines established a confederation of five city-states: Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ekron, Gath, and Gaza.
