Phakding

Phakding is a village in the Solukhumbu District of eastern Nepal. It lies on the banks of the Dudh Koshi river at an elevation of about 2,610 meters (8,562 feet). It is situated along the main trekking route from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, near the gateway town of Lukla.
