Pfarrbezirke
Pfarrbezirke, translated as parish districts or church districts, are administrative divisions within Protestant (Evangelical) churches in German-speaking countries. These districts are formed to organize pastoral care and church administration within a defined geographical area. Each Pfarrbezirk is typically served by one or more pastors who are responsible for the spiritual well-being of the members residing within its boundaries. The Pfarrbezirk encompasses a local congregation or church community.
The establishment and boundaries of Pfarrbezirke are determined by the regional church (Landeskirche) or synod to
