Perpindikulárisak

Perpindikulárisak is a Hungarian term that translates to "perpendicular" in English. It is used in geometry to describe lines, planes, or other geometric objects that intersect at a right angle, meaning the angle between them is exactly 90 degrees.

The concept of perpendicularity is fundamental in Euclidean geometry. Two lines are perpendicular if they meet at a point and form four equal angles. In a coordinate system, perpendicular lines have slopes that are negative reciprocals of each other. For example, if one line has a slope of m, a line perpendicular to it will have a slope of -1/m (provided m is not zero). If one line is horizontal (slope 0), a perpendicular line will be vertical (undefined slope).
