Permanecéis

Permanecéis is the second-person plural present indicative form of the Spanish verb permanecer. The verb means to remain, stay, or endure, and is used to describe staying in a place, continuing in a state, or continuing to exist. In standard Spanish, permanecer is the form family from which other tenses are built.

In everyday use, permanencéis appears with the pronoun vosotros, which is common in Spain. In most Latin American varieties, the corresponding form is permanecen/permanece for ustedes and ellos rather than using vosotros. The verb also has an irregular first-person singular form in the present indicative: yo permanezco, while the other present forms follow the mantenerse pattern with the stem permanec- plus the usual endings for -er verbs.
