Perenjo

Perenjo is a municipality in the Cundinamarca Department of Colombia. It is located in the South Eastern part of the department, near the Andean region of Bogotá. The municipality covers an area of 245 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 9,000 residents.

Perenjo was founded in 1820, initially as a small settlement and rural area dedicated to cattle farming and agriculture.
