Pentatonicism

Pentatonicism refers to the use of pentatonic scales in music. A pentatonic scale is a five-note musical scale. The most common form of the pentatonic scale is the major pentatonic scale, which consists of the first, second, third, fifth, and sixth degrees of a major scale.
