Pemyslovci
The Premyslid dynasty, known in Czech as the Přemyslovci, was a Bohemian royal and ducal house that ruled in the Czech lands from the 9th century until 1306. The dynasty's origins are traced back to the legendary figures of Forefather Čech and Prince Forefather Bořivoj I, the first historically attested Přemyslid ruler. Under Bořivoj and his successors, Christianity was introduced and solidified in Bohemia, laying the foundations for the state's development.
The Přemyslids gradually unified the Czech lands, expanding their influence and establishing a strong, centralized state.
The 13th century saw the Přemyslids reach the height of their power, particularly under King Ottokar II,
