Once a pegout transaction is detected, the watchtowers provide a proof of the transaction to the Bitcoin blockchain.

The Bitcoin blockchain then verifies the proof provided by the watchtowers. If the proof is valid, the Bitcoin is released from the multisignature address on the sidechain and sent to the user's Bitcoin address on the main blockchain.
