Passagererne
Passagererne is a term used in several Scandinavian languages, notably Danish and Norwegian, to refer to passengers. It broadly encompasses individuals who are traveling in a vehicle, such as a car, train, bus, airplane, or ship, but are not operating it. The word itself derives from the Latin "passagium," meaning a passage or journey. In a transportation context, "passagererne" are the customers of public transport services and the guests of private transport. Their experience and safety are primary concerns for transport operators. Regulations often govern the number of passengers a vehicle can safely carry. The concept of "passagererne" is fundamental to the functioning of any system designed for moving people from one place to another.
