Partizánske
Partizánske is a town located in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia. It is situated in the Strážovské vrchy foothills, on the Bebrava River. The town's history is closely tied to the establishment of the Baťa shoe factory in the late 1930s. Initially, the settlement was known as Baťovany. Following World War II and the nationalization of industries, the town was renamed Partizánske in honor of the Slovak National Uprising.
