Parliament-Funkadelic, commonly known as P-Funk, is a funk music collective centered on the work of American musician George Clinton. The name combines two groups, Parliament and Funkadelic, whose members collaborated extensively in the 1960s–1980s.

In the 1970s, the two bands operated as a single touring entity, producing a distinctive body of work that fused funk, soul, rock, and psychedelia, often wrapped in science-fiction concept albums and theatrical stage shows.

Their live performances featured elaborate costumes and the iconic "Mothership" landing, a hallmark of the era's concerts.

Key albums include Mothership Connection (1975) and One Nation Under a Groove (1978); earlier releases like America Eats Its Young (1972) also contributed to the sound.

Their influence is wide, shaping late-20th-century funk and influencing hip-hop via extensive sampling; the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Lineup has been fluid; notable members include Bootsy Collins and Bernie Worrell.

George Clinton remains the central figure and has continued to perform under P-Funk-associated projects.
