Parimeve
Parimeve is a term derived from the Sanskrit language, where "pari" means "complete" or "total," and "meve" means "death." Therefore, parimeve can be translated as "complete death" or "total death." In Hindu philosophy, particularly in the context of the Bhagavad Gita, parimeve refers to the ultimate state of death, where the individual soul (atman) merges with the universal soul (Brahman) and ceases to exist as an independent entity. This concept is central to the understanding of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth (samsara) and the ultimate goal of liberation from this cycle (moksha). Parimeve is often contrasted with the more common concept of "death" (mrtyu), which refers to the physical demise of the body. The philosophical exploration of parimeve delves into the nature of the self, the purpose of life, and the path to spiritual liberation.
