Parataxisplacing
Parataxisplacing is a stylistic technique in writing and speech where clauses or phrases are placed next to each other with minimal or no conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, or punctuation to indicate their relationship. This deliberate omission creates a sense of immediacy, parallelism, or a stream-of-consciousness effect. It contrasts with hypotaxis, where clauses are subordinated and linked with conjunctions and other grammatical devices to establish clear hierarchical relationships.
In parataxisplacing, the reader or listener is expected to infer the connection between the juxtaposed elements.
This technique is found across various forms of communication, from ancient oral traditions to modern literature
