Papperet

Papperet is the definite form of the Swedish noun papper, meaning paper, the material as well as a single sheet or sheets of paper. In everyday Swedish, papperet refers to paper in general or to a specific sheet, depending on context. The term is used across industries and in ordinary language.

The concept of paper originated in China with papermaking during the 2nd century BCE and spread through the Islamic world to Europe.
