Panchangs
A Panchang is a traditional Hindu almanac that provides daily astronomical information. It is derived from Sanskrit words meaning "five limbs" or "five parts," referring to its five key components. These components are the Tithi (lunar day), Nakshatra (lunar mansion or star), Yoga (combination of Sun and Moon), Karana (half of a Tithi), and Vara (weekday). Each of these elements is calculated based on the positions of celestial bodies.
The Panchang is used for various purposes in Hinduism, including determining auspicious timings for religious ceremonies,
