Pancham

Pancham is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon series. It is a small panda-like Pokémon known as the Playful Panda Pokémon. Pancham is a pure Fighting-type and was introduced in Generation VI, making its first appearance in Pokémon X and Y in the Kalos region. It is distinctive for the leaf it clenches in its mouth, which it uses during play and to shield its face; the leaf also features in some of its battle poses in artwork and games. Pancham is described as curious and mischievous, but loyal to friends, often forming bonds with trainers and other Pokémon.

Pancham evolves into Pangoro when leveled up to level 32. Pangoro, a Fighting/Dark-type, is larger and takes on a more stoic, protective role, contrasting with Pancham's playful nature. In battle, Pancham tends to rely on physical, punching-type moves, capitalizing on its strength and tenacity.

Pancham appears in the main-series Pokémon games since Generation VI, with appearances in multiple generations, including remakes and spin-offs, and is also featured in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It is typically found in forested areas in the Kalos region and other habitats where its instincts for mischief and play can be satisfied.
