PTPryhmä

PTPryhmä is a Finnish indie rock band formed in 2016 in Helsinki. The group consists of three members: Jarkko Laine (vocals, guitar), Jere Ääritalo (bass, vocals), and Jussi-Pekka Salminen (drums). The band’s name is a play on words, combining "PTP" (an abbreviation for "PTPryhmä") and the Finnish word for "group" or "band."

PTPryhmä emerged from the Finnish music scene with a sound that blends indie rock, post-punk revival, and alternative influences. Their music is characterized by catchy melodies, energetic guitar riffs, and introspective lyrics that often explore themes of identity, relationships, and personal struggles. The band’s early releases, such as their debut EP Kun olet menettänyt kaiken (2017), showcased their ability to balance raw energy with polished production.

Their breakthrough came with the 2019 album Kun olet menettänyt kaiken, which included the hit single "Kun olet menettänyt kaiken," a song that resonated strongly with Finnish audiences.
