PRR5s
PRR5s, also known as PRR5-like or PRR5L, is a protein encoded by the PRR5L gene. It is a member of the PAS-containing protein family, which are involved in sensing and responding to environmental stimuli. PRR5s is thought to play a role in circadian rhythm regulation, a biological process that governs the daily cycles of sleep and wakefulness. Studies suggest that PRR5s interacts with other components of the circadian clock machinery, including cryptochromes and PERIOD proteins. Its precise function within the circadian system is still an active area of research, but it is believed to influence the stability or activity of key clock proteins.
Beyond its role in circadian timing, PRR5s has also been implicated in other cellular processes. Some research
