PONR22
PONR22, also known as PONR22, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PONR22 gene. This gene is located on the long (q) arm of chromosome 1 at position 21.1. The PONR22 protein is a member of the PONR family, which are involved in the regulation of protein synthesis and degradation. The exact function of PONR22 is not yet fully understood, but it is believed to play a role in the regulation of protein synthesis and degradation in the cell. Mutations in the PONR22 gene have been associated with various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Further research is needed to fully understand the role of PONR22 in these diseases and to develop potential therapeutic targets.
