The term Pnliitos was coined in a 2023 synthetic anthology by theorists A. N. Vale and Q. R. Saito. The authors describe it as a portmanteau intended to evoke breath-like continuity (pneuma) and lightweight inference (liitos) though the exact etymology is illustrative rather than canonical.

Pnliitos emphasizes three features: signal integration, provisional confidence, and community validation. It posits that groups project a stable interpretation by coordinating cues, ignoring conflicting data, and using rituals of agreement (emojis, hashtags, etc.).
