Päivityslause

Päivityslause is a Finnish term that translates to "update statement" or "update clause." The primary purpose of a päivityslause is to change the values of one or more columns for rows that meet certain criteria.

The basic syntax of a päivityslause typically involves the UPDATE keyword, followed by the name of the table to be modified. Then, the SET keyword is used to specify which columns should be updated and what their new values will be. Finally, a WHERE clause is often included to define the conditions that rows must satisfy to be updated. If the WHERE clause is omitted, all rows in the table will be affected.
