Orthomosaikkers
Orthomosaikkers are not a recognized term in photogrammetry or remote sensing. It is possible this is a misspelling or a portmanteau of existing terms. If the intention was to refer to orthomosaics, an orthomosaic is a geometrically corrected image mosaic. It is a type of raster image produced by stitching together multiple aerial photographs or satellite images. Unlike a standard mosaic, an orthomosaic has been geometrically corrected, or orthorectified, to remove distortions caused by camera tilt, lens aberrations, and terrain relief. This process ensures that the scale of the imagery is uniform throughout, allowing for accurate measurements and analysis.
