Ortanormaali
Ortanormaali is a Finnish term that translates to "orthonormal" in English. It is a concept widely used in linear algebra and geometry, particularly in the context of vector spaces. A set of vectors is considered orthonormal if two conditions are met. Firstly, each vector in the set must have a magnitude or length of 1. This property is referred to as being "normal" or "normalized." Secondly, every pair of distinct vectors within the set must be orthogonal, meaning they are perpendicular to each other. This orthogonality implies that the dot product of any two different vectors in the set is zero.
