Organsüsteemide

Organsüsteemide is a term referring to the interconnected network of organs within a living organism that work together to perform specific functions. These systems are fundamental to the survival and operation of all multicellular life. Each organ system is composed of several organs that cooperate, and these organs, in turn, are made up of tissues, which are groups of similar cells. The coordinated activity of these systems allows an organism to maintain homeostasis, adapt to its environment, and carry out life processes such as growth, reproduction, and metabolism.

Major organ systems in animals include the skeletal system, which provides support and protection; the muscular system, responsible for movement; the nervous system, which controls and coordinates bodily activities through electrical and chemical signals; the endocrine system, which uses hormones to regulate various functions; the cardiovascular system, transporting blood, oxygen, and nutrients; the respiratory system, facilitating gas exchange; the digestive system, breaking down food for energy; the urinary system, filtering waste from the blood; the reproductive system, enabling procreation; and the integumentary system, comprising the skin, hair, and nails, offering protection. Plants also have organ systems, such as the root system for absorption and anchorage, and the shoot system for photosynthesis and reproduction. The efficiency and proper functioning of each system are vital for the overall health of the organism.
