Optiehandel refers to the trading of financial options contracts. An option contract gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a specific price on or before a certain date. The seller of the option is obligated to fulfill the contract if the buyer chooses to exercise their right.

Trading options involves risk, and it is possible to lose the entire amount invested in the premium. Understanding the mechanics and risks associated with options trading is crucial for participants.
