Oksüdiseer refers to the process of oxidation, a fundamental chemical reaction. In its most common form, oxidation involves the loss of electrons by a molecule, atom, or ion. This loss of electrons often results in an increase in the oxidation state of the species that is oxidized. A classic example is the reaction of iron with oxygen, where iron loses electrons and forms iron oxide, commonly known as rust.
