Obrenovi
Obrenovi is a variant transliteration of the South Slavic surname Obrenović (Обреновић) and may refer to people who bear that name as well as to the historical Obrenović family, a prominent Serbian noble and ruling house in the 19th century. In the following decades, members of the Obrenović family held the throne and shaped the country’s political and diplomatic course, often in opposition to the rival Karađorđević dynasty.
Notable members associated with the Obrenović line include Mihailo Obrenović, who ruled Serbia in the mid-19th
The name also appears in toponymy. Obrenovac is a town and municipality in the Belgrade metropolitan area,
