Närvijuure
Närvijuure, often referred to as a nerve root, is the part of a spinal nerve that connects the spinal cord to the peripheral nerve. In the human body, spinal nerves emerge from the spinal cord through openings called intervertebral foramina. Each spinal nerve is formed by the union of two roots: a dorsal (sensory) root and a ventral (motor) root. The dorsal root typically contains sensory neurons that carry information from the body to the central nervous system, while the ventral root contains motor neurons that carry signals from the central nervous system to muscles and glands.
The nerve root is a critical component of the nervous system, facilitating communication between the brain
