Nátriumszulfitrát is the Hungarian name for sodium sulfite. It is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Na₂SO₃. Sodium sulfite is the sodium salt of sulfurous acid. It typically appears as a white, crystalline powder that is soluble in water. In its anhydrous form, it is hygroscopic, meaning it readily absorbs moisture from the air.
