Nurhacis, also known as Nurhaci, was a prominent figure in the early 17th century, serving as the founder and first emperor of the Qing dynasty, which later became known as the Manchu dynasty. Born in 1559, Nurhaci was a member of the Aisin Gioro clan, one of the Eight Banners of the Manchu people. He is credited with uniting the various Manchu tribes and establishing a centralized government, which would eventually lead to the establishment of the Qing dynasty in 1636.
