Normalformate
Normalformate refers to a set of standardized paper sizes commonly used in Europe and other parts of the world. It is based on the ISO 216 standard, which defines the A, B, and C series of paper sizes. The most prevalent series is the A series, where A0 is the largest size and each subsequent size (A1, A2, etc.) is half the area of the previous one. This series is derived from a rectangle with an aspect ratio of 1:√2, meaning the ratio of the long side to the short side is the square root of two.
The B series is intended for posters, wall charts, and other applications where a larger format might
