Norgrads

Norgrads refers to a period of time in the history of the fictional planet of Xylos. This era is characterized by a significant shift in the planet's dominant species and their societal structures. Prior to Norgrads, Xylos was primarily inhabited by nomadic, silicon-based lifeforms known as the Silicates. Their existence was largely solitary and focused on survival in Xylos's harsh, mineral-rich environment.

The Norgrads era began with the emergence of the Nor, a carbon-based, highly intelligent species. The Nor possessed advanced technology and a strong capacity for organization. They quickly established permanent settlements and developed complex social hierarchies. Their arrival marked the beginning of widespread terraforming efforts across Xylos, transforming large swathes of the planet to better suit their biological needs. This process often led to conflict with the remaining Silicate populations, who were displaced and struggled to adapt to the changing landscapes.
