Nonverbalität
Nonverbalität refers to all forms of communication that do not involve spoken or written words. This encompasses a wide range of signals that convey meaning and emotion. Key components of nonverbal communication include facial expressions, which can express happiness, sadness, anger, and surprise. Body language, such as posture, gestures, and proxemics (the use of space), also plays a significant role. Eye contact, or the lack thereof, can indicate interest, sincerity, or discomfort. Haptics, or touch, can communicate affection, dominance, or support. Paralanguage, the vocal aspects of speech beyond the words themselves, such as tone of voice, pitch, volume, and rate of speech, also contributes to the overall message.
