Niederlahnstein
Niederlahnstein is a district of the town of Lahnstein in the Rhein-Lahn district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the western bank of the Rhine River. Historically, Niederlahnstein was a separate municipality before merging with Oberlahnstein in 1969 to form the town of Lahnstein. The area has a long history, with evidence of settlement dating back to Roman times. Its strategic location on the Rhine contributed to its development as a trading and transportation hub.
