Nidderdale
Nidderdale is a valley in North Yorkshire, England, forming the eastern part of the Yorkshire Dales. It is centered on the River Nidd, whose headwaters rise high in the Pennines and flow south to join the Ouse at Knaresborough. The area is designated as the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), a protected landscape that covers much of the dale and surrounding hills. Towns and villages in the AONB include Pateley Bridge, Darley, Lofthouse, and Bewerley.
