Nguru

Nguru is a town and Local Government Area in Yobe State, northeastern Nigeria. It serves as the administrative headquarters of Nguru LGA and is the seat of the Nguru Emirate, a traditional state within the region.

Geography and population: Nguru is located in the eastern part of Yobe State, within a Sahelian climate zone that features a distinct dry season and a shorter rainy season. The population is predominantly Muslim and comprises Hausa-speaking communities with Kanuri and Fulani minorities. Hausa is widely spoken, and local trade languages supplement everyday communication.
