NetFlowsFlowgegevens
NetFlowsFlowgegevens refers to the data generated by Cisco's NetFlow protocol, a widely adopted technology for collecting IP traffic information. NetFlow provides a comprehensive view of network activity by exporting metadata about network traffic flows. A flow is defined as a unidirectional sequence of packets between a source and destination IP address sharing common attributes such as source port, destination port, IP protocol, and ToS byte. These flow records capture key details like timestamps, ingress/egress interface, number of packets, and number of bytes transferred.
NetFlow data is typically exported from network devices like routers and switches to a dedicated NetFlow collector.
