Nemorcode is a fictional data encoding and scripting paradigm created by the Nebula Research Collective as part of the Nemorverse project. It is described as a bidirectional encoding system designed to preserve data integrity and schema information during transmission and storage.

The key concept is Nemor Blocks, self-describing data units that embed a lightweight schema alongside payload. Blocks can be nested, versioned, and accompanied by provenance metadata. A Nemorcode document is a sequence of blocks forming a tree-like structure, with compatibility rules that allow newer blocks to be interpreted by older tools if permissive.

Syntax is designed to be human-readable and machine-parseable, using plain tokens to indicate type, value, and metadata. The design emphasizes lossless round-tripping: software can deserialize Nemorcode back into native data structures without loss of schema or content.
