Navrhovali

Navrhovali is a Czech verb form that expresses that a group proposed something in the past. It is the imperfective past tense of navrhovat, meaning “to propose” or “to put forward.” The form is used with masculine plural subjects or mixed-gender groups; feminine plural would be navrhovaly, and in singular forms the verb varies by gender: navrhoval (masculine), navrhovala (feminine), navrhovalo (neuter). The imperfective aspect indicates that the proposing was ongoing, repeated, or not completed at the reference time, in contrast to the perfective navrhnout, which denotes a single completed act of proposing.

Navrhovali appears in narrative, reportage, and descriptive prose to recount past discussions, proposals, or decisions. It is common in contexts such as council meetings, committee discussions, or political and organizational discourse, where multiple actors proposed solutions or plans.
